EPA has delayed the enforcement action against firms that have been unable to obtain certification until October 1, 2010. Individual contractors must apply to enroll in a training class by September 30 and complete the training by December 31, 2010.

Is your Firm Certified? This is not the same as a Certified Renovator! (one who attends a class) Firms should submit a completed EPA form & $300.00 to become Certified. This Certification states that your Firm will only use properly trained Certified Renovators. Go to the EPA Forms page to find the form. Fill it out on-line, print, sign, keep a copy of the signed form and a copy of the check for your records, then mail to EPA.
